Grampian Pride 2024 was nothing short of spectacular, with the sun shining brightly and a sea of rainbow-clad attendees filling the streets. The parade kicked off at Holburn Junction, making its vibrant way along Union Street, Union Terrace, School Hill, and culminating at Marischal College. The colourful procession was a sight to behold, showcasing the diversity and unity of the community.
The celebration didn’t stop there. Participants made their way to the Grampian Pride Village at Duthie Park, where the festivities continued in full swing. The park was alive with music, entertainment, and activities for all ages. Families, kids, and adults alike found joy in the lively atmosphere, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.
As the day progressed, the excitement only grew with a fantastic after-party that carried on until late. The event featured an array of performances and musical acts that kept the energy high and the crowd dancing. It truly was a day filled with laughter, joy, and a sense of community.
Our staff had a remarkable time, with many sharing how much they enjoyed the day despite a few sore feet and a bit too much sun. The enthusiasm and participation of everyone involved made it clear that Grampian Pride 2024 was a resounding success.
