Talk, Listen, Change Lives

Granite Elite recognise and support the importance of Time to Talk Day.

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Taking place on Thursday 3rd February 2022, it’s the day that friends, families, communities, and workplaces come together to talk, listen and change lives.

After a fully digital day in 2021, we’re hoping to get back out there and get as many people talking about mental health as we can.

For 2022 we will once again have resource packs available to order from our website to help you to put on activity on the day. We will also have loads of resources available to download and will be creating activity packs to give you ideas on what you can do.

This year we’re looking at all the different ways you can start a conversation on mental health, but with a real focus as well on what we can all do to make sure we’re listening, not just talking.

Time to Talk Day is run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness in England, in Scotland by See Me, with SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health), by  Inspire and Change Your Mind in Northern Ireland and Time to Change Wales. For the first time ever this year the Co-op are also a partner.

This year we aim to support communities up and down the country to have more mental health conversations than ever before.

Talking about mental health reduces stigma helping to create supportive communities where we can talk openly about mental health and feel empowered to seek help when we need it.

However you do it, start a conversation about mental health this Time to Talk Day.
